Well, let me write my imagination....
Windows desktop will get live at first on look. Not be a still (desktop wallpaper) picture even not like a video …. It gets live as room where time and life flows.
Where we start and end the day? "on our personal room, the place we sleep". Yes; i want the operating system's desktop will be come as my room on the visual looks.
i have a pc with subwoofer on a table included dvds, cell phone, cigarettes, lighter, books even have a candy bar too on the table. Multimedia related applications will be found on this place of the Windows desktop.
Windows time will comes like the lighting effect of the day evening and night, should have a clock on the room wall too.
Control panel will looks like as a hidden room or library or basement.
Now set the “my computer”;
My bed should be my computer. When someone lay on the bed those times he will be found himself “standing on the middle place of the corridor on an apartment” from where he can go on every room of the apartment.
Every drive will come like a room. So we can store and arrange files, applications, software, audio video files, as the way we store on our hard disk partitions of a computer. Bring me back on desktop will bring me out from corridor and return back on my room and waking me up from the bed.
Room window will come as the internet browser and internet based software.
We can keep the file cabinets and reading table as “all programs of the start Manu”,
Application shortcut of the desktop will look like a poster on the wall of my room.
Front door of the apartment will be ”network place” of the operating system.
What I’ve missed?? So many but the game has been started, just paint your desktop as your own room and draw your imagination, around your room, around the whole apartment. A pc will be your real home on look and uses … please start dreaming and here has no limitation that we have on the real life.
Start painting “Windows desktop” as your room and set one by one that we have on a PC. Share me how you want to keep your applications and hardware as a part of your room and shown as what??????
Client operating system will come with the look of a flat of an apartment. Server operating system will be capable to arrange and build a whole building. full apartment house should be a domain. a full building should be an office and official domain. think my way then you can set the whole computer, applications and the networks as your real life's look that you leading. do you understand what i mean? if no then i'm sorry for my language limitation. but point me then i can explain.
